We believe that the Bible is God's book, written by men but inspired by God. We believe it is completely true and accurate, the highest authority in all matters of faith and life, and is the final word in everything.

We believe in one God who exists in three persons:
  • The Father, who is perfectly holy, infinitely wise, and immeasurably powerful.
  • Jesus Christ, the eternal and only Son, who is both completely divine and completely human. He lived a sinless life, and paid for the sins of everyone in the world by His death. We believe He rose bodily from the grave, that He is now in heaven working on our behalf, and will visibly return to earth as He promised.
  • The Holy Spirit, who convinces us of our sinfulness and of right living. He makes us spiritually alive, and empowers us for life and service.

We believe everyone falls short of God's standards, but that through the gift of Jesus' death on the cross, our rebellion can be forgiven and we can be reconciled to God by turning away from our sin and putting our lives in Jesus Christ's hands. We believe that those who open their lives to Christ will live forever in God's presence, and those who refuse Him will be forever separated from God.

We believe in the Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all spiritually reborn people are members. We believe it is seen locally through companies of Christ-followers who meet together for worship, growth, and fellowship. We teach that all believers are Christ's servants and have the task of proclaiming new life through Jesus Christ to a lost world.
We place certain aspects of the Christian life in high esteem, and we as a body of believers strive to achieve these high goals in every aspect of our lives:

Witness
  • We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore they matter to us.
  • We believe the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
Worship
  • We believe that excellence honors God and inspires people.
  • We believe the pursuit of full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.
Fellowship
  • We believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life.
  • We believe that life-change happens best in small groups.
Discipleship
  • We believe that anointed teaching and prayer are the catalysts for transformation in individuals' lives and in the church.
  • We believe that Christ-followers should manifest authenticity and yearn for continuous growth.
Service
  • We believe that a church should operate as a unified community of servants with men and women stewarding their spiritual gifts.
  • We believe churches should be led by men and women with leadership gifts.
